Email or “Electronic Mail” are messages that are typical sent between users across a network or the Internet.
An Email address takes the form of username@domainname.com .
Emails can also be sent between computer systems to trigger events or between a user and a computer software solution.
Example: When a user signs up to a websites email list they will usually receive an automated response confirming sign up or requesting user confirmation. The software will then store
the users email address for future communications without human interaction.
