Browser Cache

To speed up a user Internet surfing, browsers store recently used pages and their content, including images and video on the users computer hard disk.

If the page is revisited then the browser may display the page from this disk content rather than request it again from the website’s  server.

The amount of information stored is restricted and subject to the amount of disk space assigned for this in the users browser cache settings.
