ccTLD is short for Country Code Top Level Domain.
These are country specific TLD’s and make use of the ISO 3166-1 (International Organization for Standardization) 2 letter country codes.
Example of country specific TLD’s
Canada .ca , Brazil .br , Sweden .se
There are some notable exceptions, such as the TLD for the United Kingdom
United Kingdom .uk where the ISO 3166-1 ‘s 2 letter code is GB
