MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) is a marketing model in that involves the sale of products by a group of independent distributors, who not only receive commission for any sales they generate but also from the sales of other distributors they recruit.
The second level of distributors are referred to as the 1st tiers downline. Depending upon the MLM program, there can be several tiers of distributors each taking a cut of any profits generated.
