Adobe’s Portable Document Format (PDF) is a file format mainly used for distributing files across a network or from a website.
Any document can be translated into a PDF format irrespective of the application. The document can then viewed across multiple computer platforms in a read-only format.
This is a commonly used format for Ebooks and product electronic Manuals.
